The Thought Leadership Flywheel

Your 25 years in the business, in front of the high-tech buyers you want, every month. You talk. We write it, post it, put paid distribution behind it, and use what the market tells us to make next month sharper.

"I would say 80% is word of mouth or when I post something in LinkedIn."

You, on our last call

"One of the reasons I haven't been consistent with pushing stuff is that I don't have a lot of time."

You, on our last call

New 2 of 3 Answer 1 of 3, where the in-house doubt comes up

Why here: the flywheel is where "you talk, we write" lands. "Will it sound like me?" was cut: tab 3 already answers it (you approve every post).

"Why not just write these in-house with AI?"

You could. Time is the problem, not ideas. You told us: "I don't have a lot of time." This takes one interview a month, a few approvals, and your replies to comments and DMs. Every post starts from your own words.

One Month, Step By Step

Month one includes setup. After that, every month runs the same rhythm, and the interview at the end of each month writes the next one.

Who Does What

We carry the production and the distribution. Your part is the part only you can do: the expertise, and the conversations it starts.

Your part

Small, but it is what makes the whole loop work.

  1. One recorded interview a month. You talk shop. That is the raw material for every post.
  2. Approve each post before it goes live. Nothing goes out in your name without your sign-off.
  3. Reply to comments and work your DMs. The posts start conversations with the people you want. If nobody answers, it is a one-way mirror, and the paid distribution is wasted.
  4. Approve the Thought Leader Ad requests so we can put paid distribution behind your posts.

Our part

Everything else, every month.

  1. Turn the interview into 12 posts a month (about 3 a week): text, image and short video, in your voice.
  2. Schedule and post from your personal profile.
  3. Build the audience: IT, data center, international sales, supply chain and RMA leaders at US high-tech exporters, $100M to $1B, California first.
  4. Run the paid distribution as Thought Leader Ads behind the posts that land.
  5. Read the signal every month: which companies and job titles engaged, and which topics pulled them in.
  6. Set next month's topics and bring them to your next interview.
New 2 of 3 Answer 2 of 3, on the tab that names who does the work

Why here: buyers worry the people who pitch aren't the people who deliver. This tab is where that question forms.

"Will the people on this call run my account?"

No. Specialists run it, not sales. Seth Trammell, our Director of SEO, scoped the Google work himself. A Growth Manager runs the LinkedIn ads. A writer turns your monthly interview into posts.

What we'd need from you to start

  • Your target list: the companies you most want seeing this. We build the rest from LinkedIn's company and job filters.
  • A LinkedIn ad account in your company's name, with access for us. You don't run ads today, so we'll walk you through setup.
  • A first interview on the calendar.
  • Google Search Console access. It gives us the click baseline for the Google side. Without it, we will not set an outcome target we can stand behind.
  • Someone who can publish to your site: access for us, or a named person who can put pages live within a week of delivery.
  • One reviewer for accuracy on the IOR pages. Trade compliance content has to be right. One named person, not a committee.

Getting Found On Google

Structure, internal links and structured data are built in Month 1, inside the monthly hours.

The same pages win the AI answer

10 of 19of your buying searches already show an AI answer above the results.

  • AI answers quote the page that best answers the question.
  • No separate lever: the pages we build are the lever.
  • Monthly report: pages live and Google clicks. No AI-answer count, because that tracking isn't reliable.
New 3 of 3 Not on the page: your questions for Monday

Why here: a question makes no claim, so outside research reaches a prospect safely. These go on your Monday call sheet (saved to the Global4PL Brain), never the room. Ask them before this tab. Number 4 is a 30-second test you can run on screen.

  1. When an "I need it now" inquiry lands at 4:55 on a Friday, who answers it, and how fast?Everything in this plan ends at that reply.
  2. What have you tried before, and ruled out?So the budget doesn't pay to learn it twice.
  3. What would you need to see by month six to keep going?Agree on the stop line now, not later.
  4. Ask ChatGPT who handles importer of record for US tech exporters. Who does it name?Shows who AI search names today, before we build a page.

Built To Fit Your $8,300

All-in, agency fees included, the way you set it. Toggle a line or change a number and the media budget recalculates.

New 1 of 3 What we won't do, next to the price

Why here: in the 10/1 buyer research, buyers said they pay for an agency that argues with the brief and says no. This is the tab where the price gets pushed, so the nos sit next to the number. With live ad spend, this section would also list what we'd stop. Global4PL has none yet.

What We Won't Do

Four things we'd turn down, even if you asked.

Sell this as a quick lead fix.

If you need leads tomorrow, outbound gets there faster. This builds the name buyers know before they need you.

Build the plan around TecEx.

TecEx gets about 40 US searches a month. That's a line item, not a strategy.

Promise rankings or a spot in AI answers.

We can't control either. We build the pages both draw on, and we report what we can measure.

Grade our own homework.

Your reports come from your own accounts: Google Search Console and your LinkedIn ad account. You can check every number.

What To Expect

This is the long game, and we'd rather say so up front. The monthly activity is the first few steps. Here is how it climbs toward the goal.

The goal

Get found by the high-tech companies that need IOR, on LinkedIn and on Google, so the next "I need it now" call comes to you.

Straight talk: organic search doesn't produce volume in 90 days. The IOR Services page goes first because it's closest to moving. We measure: pages live and Google clicks vs baseline.

What it takes to pay for itself

Your numbers from our calls: a large high-tech IOR customer is worth $200K to $300K a year in fees, a small one about $20K. And if 10 people who need the service reach you, you win 3 to 4 of them.

Built on the fee and close-rate numbers you gave us. Fees, not margin. Break-even math, not a forecast. The yearly figure follows the budget on tab 5.

New 2 of 3 Answer 3 of 3, next to the outcome and payback math

Why here: this tab sets the long-game expectation, so "what if it doesn't work" comes up here.

"What if it isn't working?"

You'll hear it from us first. The outcome target goes in writing once there are three months of Search Console data, so we both know what working means. After the first three months, it's month to month.

Straight talk: this is not a quick lead fix. As we said on our last call, if you need leads tomorrow, outbound will get there faster. This builds the name your buyers already know by the time they need you.
